Drawing for book covers and illustrations is a part of my illustrating journey. it used to be my daily job at some publisher. hardcopy books are the norm a few years in the back. I bought so many books and read most of them. Stacked up filling a book shelf as tall as I am. There was a sense of accomplishment in drawing for one. Like, my illustrations will be seen by so many people. And just like I did with the books I bought and not, those people will judge the books firsthand from my illustrations. Will they buy them, will they read them, will they be attracted to the book. I always wondered about it. Now the hardcopy books are luxury items. Yes, ironically, I too do think so. I prefer soft copy ebooks than the printed ones. they don't took up so much space. and I can read almost all of them with my laptop or smartphones. they were so practical, they even saved me while I was in a depressed mode. I can still enjoy those stories even when I'm away from home. And now, it progressing
